Thank-you for your interest in Smithy Bridge Primary School.  I hope that this website gives you an insight into our vibrant and wonderful school. 

We are a welcoming school family and take great pride in our school values of: Excellence, Courage, Kindness, Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. These are promoted daily in everything that we do and are lived out by staff, governors and pupils alike. 

Our ethos focuses on high quality teaching and learning within a happy, nurturing and inclusive environment for all our pupils. We celebrate achievement in all areas of school life, both academically and personally and we value each member of our school as individuals.

We have a friendly and hardworking staff body who are committed to providing high quality education and support.  We have high expectations of  children and our bespoke curriculum supports them in becoming  enthusiastic learners who are eager to gain knowledge and achieve.

Communication and working in partnership with parents and carers is key to the success of our school and we offer a range of opportunities for parents and carers to be involved in school life.
