To achieve, to grow, to smile, to dream

SEND

Smithy Bridge Primary School is an inclusive school, with the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) being met in a mainstream setting wherever possible. At Smithy Bridge Primary School, we have a graduated approach to SEND, ensuring early identification of needs and a continuum of support for children in order to enable them to make progress. Please also refer to our SEND policy, Information Report and Graduated Approach which outline the purpose, nature and management of special educational needs within our school.

Mrs Harding is the School SENDCO. If you have concerns regarding your child, in the first instance please contact your child's teacher. If your concerns remain or you require further assistance then please contact her at the school officer on 01706 378 083 or alternatively via email at eharding@sbs.rochdale.sch.uk

The School holds half termly drop in sessions for parents to meet Mrs Harding, please see the newsletter for further information.
